Worship

In our friendly church community, we share worship together in different ways to meet the needs of our richly multifaceted people. Join us in person or online each week. Or, catch up on the sermon for the services you may have missed at our YouTube channel.

Sunday at 10 a.m., in person: Come as you are, wear what you like; all are welcome! A specially trained service animal can also accompany you if covered by the ADA. Our congregation includes people of all ages, diverse cultural backgrounds, and various abilities. We include a special time for children each Sunday. We’ll sing together with a lively band; some hymns, some praise songs, and some folk songs. Words for songs and prayers are available in print and on our large screens throughout the sanctuary.

The pastor will usually share a message of hope and encouragement that lasts about 15 minutes. All are welcome to lift up their prayer concerns out loud during the service, or more privately in writing or conversation with the pastor. The service lasts about an hour, and afterwards people tend to head into the fellowship hall for a cup of coffee, a snack, and casual conversation.

Sunday at 5 p.m., Adults Only: Come as you are! This service was specifically created to make space for those in our community who have been previously incarcerated or who are on the sex offender list. We all need community connection with God and other people! This space is for us to gather with people who have similar experiences, offer support and encouragement together, and celebrate the transformation God has been working and continues to work in our lives for healing and hope.
**This is the only service that is age-limited; participants must be 18 years of age or older.**

Online live: Join us from wherever you are in the world — home, the coffee shop, on vacation, or working out! We share all of the worship services by Zoom each week. You’ll be able to follow along with the words of the songs and prayers, and see everything that is happening in the sanctuary. You will be able to talk and share with the other people joining online. This includes sharing prayer requests with the congregation in the sanctuary. Click here to join online on Sundays at 10 a.m. or 5 p.m.

Communion (also known as the sacrament, Eucharist, or the Lord’s Supper) is served on the first Sunday of every month in every service. The table in the United Methodist Church is open for absolutely anyone who wants to partake. Joining from home? No problem! Gather a little bit of whatever you most like to eat and drink, and share communion remotely.
