Rev. Susan Foster

Pastor

What do I do at St. Paul’s? Well, I’m the Pastor.  This means that I only work on Sunday mornings (I’m kidding!).  In actuality my job is varied and every day is different.  I am responsible for the care and nurture of the people of St. Paul’s UMC and the wider community we are a part of. Some days this means I am meeting with church leaders, responding to pastoral care concerns, and preparing to preach.  Other days I am out in the community advocating for change, giving time to local service organizations and meeting people where they are.  Or I could be leading a bible study, visiting the children and staff in Noah’s Ark or planning worship.
What excites me most about my job? I love the interesting people I meet, the deep conversations that I get to have with them, and witnessing the ways that God is moving in their lives and through them in the world. I get jazzed when I see growth in people.
