Web Master

What do I do at St. Paul’s? Let’s see, I am the Web Master, which means I attempt to keep our Web site current. If you see anything that is out of date, or get a page not found error, it is pretty much my fault.
What excites me most about my job? Everything! One of my main passions is outreach, and it is so exciting to see the energy and excitement from the church members when we take on a project outside the church doors.
Birthday May 25th, the 145th day of the year (146th in leap years) I share the day with Ralph Waldo Emerson, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, Beverly Sills, Tom T. Hall, Ian McKellen, and Leslie Uggams. I've got a lot to live up to.
Describe my family I have a wonderful Wife, who keeps me on the straight and narrow. The other member of our household is Max, a Dachshund, who gives me unconditional love (for a dog goodie!) We lost Max in the summer of 2016 at the age of 19. I thank God for Max's long devotion to me. Not in our household is a son, stepson, stepdaughter, their families, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and so forth and so on.
Favorite hot drink? Really, really good black coffee that is NOT Starbucks (Sorry Susan!)
My passions? Reading, techie toys, stained and fused glass, music, sound editing, video editing, musicals, travel, feel-good movies (Pixtar, I love you!), construction, destruction, prestruction, restruction. Here I am, Michael Lee, Jack of all trades, master of none.
What I like to do in my spare time I have gotten into road biking, which with my age and knees present a reallly good challenge.
Favorite vacation spot or what was the best vacation I’ve ever had? Well, my favorite vacation spot is Mexico. Best vacation was a Michael W. Smith Alaskan cruise.
Favorite Bible verse Only one? OK, Psalm 100, 1 - 2“Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness; come into his presence with singing”
Top 5 musical groups Casting Crowns, The Beatles, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The Austin Lounge Lizards, Three Dog Night, The Highwaymen, Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Trout Fishing in America, Queen, Dire Straits, Selah – AARGH! IT’S LIKE THE POTATO CHIPS! I CAN’T STOP!!!
Favorite sports teams The underdog
Favorite 2 books Only two books? How about authors? Number one is the Bible. I don’t read it as much as I should. Authors are Sue Grafton, Terry Pratchett, J.R.R Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Faye Kellerman.
Favorite 3 movies Tops is “The Sting” - I can watch it over and over again enjoying the unfolding of the plot. “WALL-E” - how can a bucket of bolts show so much love? “Bruce Almighty” – if I were God…
Favorite restaurant The Sun Valley Steak House in Hobey’s Casino.  A true hidden gem. Great food for real reasonable prices. Tell Marko, the Maitre d, I said "Hi!"
Favorite TV shows Current shows: Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, Good Eats, Chopped (Is there a theme here?) Past shows: Good Neighbors, The Vicar of Dibley, To the Manor Born, As Time Goes By. Ancient history: I Love Lucy, Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-in, Rocky and Bullwinkle.
